Sri Srikanteshwara Swamy Temple records hundi collection of Rs.1.15 cr.

Temple also receives 350 gm gold and over 1.5 kg silver articles, demonetised notes

Nanjangud:  Sri Srikanteshwara Swamy Temple in the town has recorded a hundi collection of Rs.1.15 crore in the past few months.

The hundi was opened on Friday in the presence of the Temple authorities. Apart from the said amount, the Temple has also received demonetised Rs.1,000 and Rs.500 currency worth Rs.65,000. These currency notes were demonetised two years ago.

The Temple has also received 350 grams gold and over 1.5 kg silver articles, according to sources at the Temple.
