State government appoints Heads, Members to various Academies

Bengaluru: The State Government on Monday appointed the following persons as Chairmen (Chairpersons) and Members of its various Academies.

Dr. K. Marulasiddappa has been appointed as the Chairman of Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Pradhikara (Kannada Translation Academy),  Dr. Vasundhara Bhupathi for Kannada Book Authority,  Prof. Aravind Malagatti for Karnataka Sahitya Academy, Kalachar for Karnataka Shilpakala Academy, J. Lokesh for Karnataka Nataka Academy, Fayaz Khan for Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya Academy, A.C. Bhandari for Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy and R.C. Nayak for Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy.

Meanwhile, the State government is likely to appoint Heads and Members for the remaining Academies including Kodava Sahitya Academy and Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy after the term of the existing Committees end on Aug. 13.
