September 23, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: In a heinous incident of animal cruelty, the carcass of a stray dog and birds, suspected to be poisoned by the miscreants, were found in city.

The incident took place in Puttegowda Layout near Maratikyathanahalli Gate located in Bogadi Road on Tuesday.

Miscreants managed to mix poison in the food which was kept in a paper plate for stray dogs.

Locals informed Star of Mysore that after consuming the food, 4-5 stray dogs behaved in an unusual manner and suspected that all of them may have died elsewhere.

Also, 5 sparrows were found dead after allegedly eating the poisonous food. After looking at the condition of the stray dog, residents immediately alerted the members of People For Animal (PFA).
