Sir,
I fully endorse Dr. Srinath Setty’s views regarding the problems and inconveniences faced by residents, particularly in the evenings, due to street eateries.
One such affected area is Third Main Road, V.V. Mohalla, near DRM Hospital, where numerous street vendors operate and vehicles are parked on the footpath, obstructing pedestrian movement.
Additionally, two-wheelers parked in front of the DRM Hospital further add to the congestion, making it difficult for pedestrians to navigate the area.
I urge the Mysuru City Corporation authorities to take appropriate measures to provide an alternative location for street eateries in each locality. This will help alleviate the hardships residents face while ensuring a more organised and pedestrian-friendly environment.
