Muruvanda S. Achaya (Nehru) passed away last night at his son’s residence in Tata Sherwood Apartments, Basavanagar, Bengaluru. He was 89. He leaves behind his wife Dechi Achaya, son Girish Achaya, daughter Ganga, daughters-in-law, son-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Kalpalli this afternoon.
