Three burglars arrested, various machineries recovered

Mysuru: N.R. Police, on Aug. 26, have arrested three burglars on charges of breaking into a factory and making away with various machines from it. The arrested have been identified as Tanveer Pasha, M.J. Saleem and Kaisar Pasha, all residents of Haleemnagar in Bannimantap here.

During interrogation, the accused are said to have revealed that on Aug. 23, they entered Kohinoor Engineers, a factory near Highway Circle by cutting the iron rods of the window and had stolen various machines from the factory. They had brought the machines to city to sell it, they added. Following the information provided by the accused, the Police recovered welding, drilling, grinding machines and other materials from them.

DCP Dr. Vikram V. Amathe supervised N.R. Inspector T. Ashok Kumar, ASI Chandregowda, staff Ramesh, Krishna, Mahadev and others in the nabbing and recovery operation.
