Tobacco products worth Rs.5 lakh stolen

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, who broke into a godown at Vishweshwaranagar, have decamped with Rs. 5 lakh worth tobacco products from there.

The godown – R.J. Agencies – located on Bhavani School in Vishweshwaranagar, belongs to one Bhaveesh, a resident of A. Ramanna street at Devaraja Mohalla in city.

It is learnt that the miscreants broke the locks of the godown on June 23 night and have made away with pan masala packets and other tobacco products worth Rs. 5 lakh from the godown.

Vidyaranyapuram Police, who have registered a case,  are investigating.
