Training for 600 Land Surveyors begins

Mysuru:  A professional training for Land Surveyors, organised by Land Survey Training Institute (LSTI), began at its premises near Hadajana village in the taluk on Monday.

About 600 Land Surveyors are being groomed on survey procedure, revenue assessment, mapping and maintenance of land records. The training was inaugurated by Commissioner of the Department of Land Records Munish Moudgil.

Out of 1,067 Land Surveyors appointed newly by the Department, 600 will undergo training in Mysuru Centre and the rest at Kalaburagi Regional Centre.

LSTI Principal M.S. Mariswamy Gowda, Training Co-ordinator B.S. Prasad, Deputy Director of Land Records Prasad V. Kulkarni and others were present.
