Training in Manipuri Pottery, Dry Leaves Art at IGRMS from May 8 to 15

Mysuru: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya – IGRMS (National Museum of Mankind), Southern Regional Centre (SRC), Mysuru, will hold an Education Programme under “Do & Learn” series on Manipuri Pottery and  Dry Leave Art at its Wellington House on Irwin Road here from May 8 to 15.

Training will be imparted by well-known artists M. Nobin Meitei, K. Jothinkumar Singh, N. Chachea Mao and Lopfro Mao. The training is open to public and those interested may contact J. Vijay Mohan, Officer-In-Charge, IGRMS at Wellington House or  contact Ph: 0821-2448231.

Raw material cost will have to be borne by the participants. The individually prepared items are issued to the participants after the training programme.
