Tasty food was served in an orderly manner at all the three locations and there were effective waste management systems. The serving of food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) began as early as 5 am and went on till about 11 pm as there was a huge crowd.

On the three days, the Food Committee, which had the responsibility of serving quality and tasty food, served breakfast, lunch and dinner, which included sweet and khara pongal, poori-saagu, methi rice-bath, rice-sambar, curd-rice, pomegranate curd-rice, papad, pickles, kajjaya, vegetable biriyani, rice-rasam, rice payasa, jowar roti, akki roti, brinjal yennegai, kalle-huli, aloo bonda, menasinakai bajji etc., which received appreciation from the participants and guests at the Kannada Sammelana who had come from across the State.

Though there were some issues over serving of food on the first day, the Food Committee rectified the same and serving of food on the second and third day went on smoothly without any glitch.
