Accused arrested based on CCTV footage, scientific evidences
Mysore/Mysuru: Nanjangud Town Police have arrested two persons on charges of stealing a Multi-Utility Vehicle (MUV), parked in front of a house and have recovered the stolen vehicle from them. The accused were arrested based on CCTV footages and scientific evidences.
Those arrested are Narayana Swamy of Kongalli Palya in Erode district of Tamil Nadu and Darshan of Vijayanagar in Mysuru.
On Nov. 26, 2024, a Chevrolet Tavera (KA-18-M-9408) MUV belonging to Manju of Neelakanta Nagar in Nanjangud Town Police limits which was parked in front of a house at Gauthama Layout was stolen and a case was registered in this regard.
Nanjangud Inspector and the investigating team, based on tip off from informants, CCTV footages and scientific evidences, cracked the case and recovered the stolen vehicle. Both the accused have been remanded to judicial custody.

Mahesh, Rahul Kamble and Krishna in cracking the case.
