Mysore/Mysuru: An unidentified man, who was crossing the Irwin Road, was killed on the spot when an unidentified vehicle rammed into him and sped away. The incident took place between 1.30 pm and 12 midnight on June 2.
The man was crossing Irwin Road near K.R. Hospital bus shelter when a speeding vehicle coming from City Railway Station side rammed into him and sped away.
The man, aged between 30 and 35 years, who suffered serious injuries to his head, breathed his last on the spot.
The deceased is 5.5 ft. tall, oily red complexioned, oval faced, lean built, has the name ‘Muthu Arasamma’ etched on his right hand and ‘Anju’ on the left hand and was wearing a cream coloured full arm shirt and grey coloured pant.
NR Traffic Police, who have registered a case, have urged the kith and kin of the deceased, if any, to contact NR Traffic Police Station on Ph: 0821-2418527 or Police Control Room on Ph: 0821-2418339, according to a press release from the Inspector, NR Traffic Police Station, Mysuru.
