Mysuru: In the Best University Survey 2017 conducted by The Week-Hansa Research, the century-old University of Mysore (UoM) is ranked 9th in All India Multi-Disciplinary State Universities and 15th among All India Multi-Disciplinary Universities, respectively.

It may be recalled here that UoM had figured 36th in the India Ranking-2017 conducted by NIRF, MHRD, Government of India.  This year UoM  had participated in the four ranking surveys including Karnataka State University Rating Framework 2017  (KSURF) conducted by ICARE-KSURF under Karnataka State Higher Education  Council (KSHEC), Government of Karnataka in which University has secured three stars with a score of 518 for 1000 University, and Times Higher Education (THE)  World Ranking 2017 of which results are expected soon.

Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, Director of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board, has been serving as Nodal Officer for Ranking Surveys of University of Mysore.
