UPOR: Hospitality and service must be experienced to be believed

January 12, 2020

Sir,

Last week, I visited Urban Property Ownership Record (UPOR) Project Office near Mini Vidhana Soudha and was really surprised to enjoy their friendly attitude. Though I was asked to visit 4 persons/ tables in the same premises for completing the process of verification, scanning, collecting fees etc., this was completed in a phased manner.

The entire process was completed within 20 minutes and I was surprised to see at least one Government Office recognising human values and not demanding/ accepting bribe at any stage.

One Officer Rajesh was moving personally to ensure that senior citizens are not made to wait for their turn. Hats off to the entire team at UPOR centre.

Those who wish to obtain UPOR on their property can vouch for this experience after visiting this office with their property papers.
