Vijayanagar Football Academy (VFA) from Mysuru, representing the Mysuru Division, won the DPDL State‑level Football Tournament held at Khannur Vidyanikethan School Grounds in Haveri district recently. In their opening match, VFA defeated Swarna Football Academy of Mandya 2‑1, then beat Dream United FA of Haveri 3‑1 and finally, beat MSDF FA of Belagavi 1‑0. VFA successfully defended the title which they won in the previous year as well.
