Violin Concert at Mysore Vasudevacharya’s Residence

Mysore/Mysuru: Vid. S. Arunachala Karthik, an accomplished violinist from Bengaluru, will be presenting a solo violin concert at the heritage house of Mysore K. Vasudevacharya in city on Aug. 3 at 10.30 am.

He will be accompanied by Vid. Trichy S. Gurushyam on mridanga.

Profile: Vid. Arunachala was initiated into Karnatak Music by his mother Chitra Sridharan. He  learnt Karnatak vocal from Sitaramasarma and Mangalam Shankar. He has received advanced training in violin from C.N. Chandrasekhar and Sangita Kalanidhi M.S. Gopalakrishnan. A B-High grade artiste in AIR since 2003, he has performed in major Sabhas all over South India.

Trichy S. Gurushyam, trained under Srirangam V. Venkataraman and B. Harikumar, is known for his exceptional skill and precision. A B-High grade artiste of AIR, he has been performing at prestigious sabhas accompanying eminent vocalists and instrumentalists and has collaborated with international artistes too.
