Vishwamanava train delay causes daily inconvenience

December 9, 2025

Sir,

Commuters travelling on the Vishwamanava Express have raised concerns over the train’s prolonged halt and delayed arrival at Mysuru.

According to regular passengers, the train reaches Pandavapura Station at 7.45 pm but arrives at Mysuru only at 8.45 pm, resulting in a delay of more than 35 minutes every day.

This extended travel time has become a source of frustration for daily travellers, many of whom rely on the train for timely commutes. Passengers are urging railway authorities to review the schedule and explore alternatives to minimise delays and improve efficiency.

The Vishwamanava Express serves as a crucial link for hundreds of commuters between Bengaluru and Mysuru.

However, the current delay not only wastes time but also affects work-life balance for many passengers.

Authorities are requested to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure smoother operations.

The Vishwamanava Express is a lifeline for office-goers and students, yet its inefficiency raises serious questions. Why does a train covering the Bengaluru-Mysuru route, touted as a major corridor, suffer such operational delays? Is it due to congestion, poor planning or lack of accountability?

Railway authorities must act. Introducing better scheduling, reducing unnecessary halts or even adding an express alternative could save thousands of commuters from this daily ordeal. In an era where speed and efficiency define progress, wasting 35 minutes every day is unacceptable.
