Visit Museums across city on May 18

As part of World Museum Day celebrations on May 18, the Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums has organised a programme ‘Museum on Wheels’ with the theme ‘The Power of Museums,’ where the public will be taken on a bus ride to visit various Museums across the city.The tour will begin from the Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums in Karnataka Exhibition Authority premises at 9 am on May 18 and visit Regional Museum of Natural History in Siddarthanagar, Folklore Museum in Manasagangothri and culminate at Rail Museum.

Those interested may register their names before May 10 by 5 pm at the Office of the Commissioner, Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums, Mysuru or contact the Department Office in Karnataka Exhibition Authority premises in person or over Ph: 0821- 2424671/ 3, according to a press release from the Commissioner, Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums, Mysuru.
