Wadiyar couple inspire Palace Band

September 26, 2017

Mysuru: The Wadiyar couple Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and wife Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar caught the attention of the people as they appeared in the Durbar Hall wanting to watch the Police Band perform. However, due to heavy rain, they had to wait for a long time.

Meanwhile, the Palace Band started playing a few tunes for some time. They played Dr. Rajkumar-starrer movie Aaksmika’s most popular number ‘Huttidere Kannadanadalli Huttabeku,’ compositions of Jayachamaraja Wadiyar and devotional tunes.

Even as the young couple were enjoying these lilting tunes, they waved to the band, which was so inspired by their gesture, that they played a few more tunes. Varchuswee S.S. Urs and other Wadiyar family members were also present.
