Mysore/Mysuru: Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, along with Rotary Mysore and with the support of more than 20 organisations across the city, had organised a Mega Blood Donation Drive on Sept. 17.

Walkmate Footwear was also among the key participating organisations. The inauguration of blood donation drive at Walkmate Corporate Office took place on Sept. 17, in the presence of Bastian Joseph, Managing Director of Walkmate Footwear, Ravishankar, President of Rotary Mysore, Rotarians, Rotaract Mysore representatives and Walkmate employees.

A remarkable highlight of the drive was that over 80% of the blood donors were women employees, reflecting both social responsibility and the growing awareness among women about the importance of saving lives through blood donation.

Speaking on the occasion, Walkmate Footwear’s management emphasised that such initiatives strengthen society by encouraging individuals and organisations to step forward for the greater good.
