Mysore/Mysuru: IETE Mysuru Centre conducted International Webinar on ‘The world of circuit simulation’ on June 30. The webinar was presided by Dr. Pramod K.B. Rangaiah, Researcher, Microwaves in Medical Engineering Group, Uppsala University, Sweden. Prof. C.R. Nataraj, Chairman, IETE Mysuru Centre, Dr. S.R. Bhagyashree, Vice-Chairman, IETE Mysuru, Professor, Department of ECE, ATMECE, Dr. B.D. Parameshachari, Hon. Secretary, IETE Mysuru, Professor & HoD of TCE, GSSSIETW, Prof. Shashidhara S. Gokhale, Hon. Treasurer,  IETE Mysuru, EXECOM Members of IETE Mysuru Centre and participants from various colleges were present.

Webinar was coordinated by A.C. Pavithra, EXECOM Member, IETE Mysuru, Asst. Professor, Dept. of ECE, ATMECE, and  M.S. Priya, Member IETE Mysuru Centre, Asst. Prof., Department of E&C, MIT, Mysuru.

Dr. Pramod Rangaiah highlighted about different classes of EM simulator tools available in the field of engineering. He gave an insight into various parameters to be considered while using any simulator and the limitations involved in different types of simulators like Linear simulators, Linearised HB Simulator and so on. He also mentioned of understanding the basic concepts of technical courses offered in engineering which lay a strong foundation to understand, design and implement designs in simulation tool. 

The webinar was attended by more than 100 participants from all over the country. They said that this webinar gave valuable inputs and most of the doubts related to ‘The world of circuit simulation’ were cleared by the resource person.
