Who will rectify this live power line?

April 6, 2025

Sir,

Yesterday, while I was waiting at the traffic signal near Madhus Tyre Centre on Hunsur Road, I noticed that the switchboard cover on the road divider was broken. The live power line inside is completely exposed and easily accessible — even to children.

This has been lying in the same condition for several days, yet no one seems to have taken note or responsibility. My question is: Who is responsible for addressing this? Is it under the jurisdiction of CESC or the MCC?

I sincerely urge the authorities to take immediate action. If the unit is defunct, it should at least be removed to prevent any potential accidents. This is a serious safety hazard that needs urgent attention before any mishap occurs.
