Winners of NR Open Golf Tournament

The two-day NR Open Golf Tournament organised by NR Group culminated recently with the valedictory ceremony held at JWGC premises.

The tournament witnessed around 200 golf enthusiasts participating across 16 categories.  NR Group Managing Partners Arjun Ranga, Pavan Ranga, Kiran Ranga, Vishnu Ranga and Anirudh Ranga presented the trophies to the winners. JWGC President B.M. Nagesh, Hon. Secretary V.G. Achar, Captain Dr. Venkatesh Joshi, Hon. Treasurer Dr. S. Prasanna Shankar and Tournament Sub-Committee Chairman H.S. Hemanth were present. The following are the winners:

  1. Strokeplay Gross: K.A. Anil Kumar (73 Gross)-winner; Disha Kaveri (75 Gross)- runner— (Better Back 6 Over N. Maneesh & Vidhatri K. Urs).
  2. Strokeplay Net (H/C 0 to 12): N. Maneesh (65 Net)-winner; Dhruv Bopanna (66 Net)- runner.
  3. Strokeplay Net (H/C 13 to 18): A. Anantha (65 Net)-winner; Surendra Agarwal (67 Net)- runner.
  4. Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 18): Vidhatri K. Urs (40 Points)-winner; Ramesh Kumar Jain (39 Points)- runner — (Better Back 9 Over Vinay Natarajan).
  5. Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 24): Dr. S.K. Ghori (38 Points)-winner; S.K. Ramalinge Gowda (38 Points)- runner— For Seniors Above 65 Years & Above.
  6. Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 24): K.C. Eapen (33 Points)-winner — For Super Seniors 70 Years & Above.
  7. Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 24): M. Akhilesh Shenoy (37 Points)-winner; Drishti Karumbaya (34 Points)-runner— For Juniors.
  8. Stableford Net ( H/C 0 to 24): Gayathri Mohan (37 Points)-winner; NeeharikaThangamma (34 Points)-runner—For Ladies.
  9. Longest Drive – 9th Hole: K.A. Anil Kumar (320 Yards).
  10. Straightest Drive – 1st Hole: C.K.Subramani (5 Feet).
  11. Nearest to the Pin – 12th Hole: N. Maneesh (7 Feet 8 Inches).
  12. Maximum No. of Birdies: Vidhatri K. Urs( 4 Birdies)
