Woes of train travellers

August 3, 2022

Sir,

The South Western Railway (SWR) seems to have no value for time. Most of the trains arrive at a good speed from Bengaluru and stop outside Mysuru Railway Station waiting for clearance.

Many a times I have seen trains waiting for more than 20-25 minutes for clearance to enter the platform. In fact today evening Chamundi Express train was held up there for more than 30 minutes!

Instead of making the trains wait for such a long time, they can change the timing of departing trains suitably.

Or else they can give some more stops so that passengers of those places can get into the trains.

Will the SWR authorities concerned please note this problem and redress the grievances rain travellers from Bengaluru to Mysuru?
