Mysore/Mysuru: Daksha College of Global Education Trust, Mysuru, celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 in its “Green and Clean Education Hub” in the heart of Mysuru city.

Standing out as a change- making educational institution, Daksha College Management, in-a-first-of-its-kind declaration, announced that it would facilitate its women staff in availing a day’s off during their menstrual period.

Breaking the stereotype and shunning unreasonable old taboos, the institution focuses on empowering and facilitating its women staff and students, with complete understanding of their needs in terms of health, hygiene, safety and security.

The Women’s Day event at Daksha was attended by Management officials, Principals, staff  and students.
