Women’s Day celebrated at Vidya Vikas

March 10, 2019

Mysuru: International Women’s Day was celebrated with the theme ‘Gender Parity’ at Vidya Vikas campus on Friday.

DJ Rashmi of Red FM, who was the special guest, advised the students to respect each other and build self confidence and gave her own example to show that perseverance, time management and hard work were the keys to success.

Vidya Vikas Educational Trust Secretary V. Kaveesh Gowda, who presided over the event, said that Women’s Day is a festival to be celebrated by both men and women besides stating that though both genders are equal in every way, the mental strength of women is unsurpassable.

Cultural programmes like skits, mimes, songs and dance were performed by the students.
