Mysuru/Mysore: The Kalinga Centre for Rainforest Ecology will hold the Scientific Training on Reptile Management (STORM) workshop in Mysuru on Feb.15 and16 with herpetologists P. Gowri Shankar and Snake Shyam. 

Open to all above 18 years of age, the workshop is a foundational course on reptiles, identification methods, rescue techniques, rescue equipment, legal aspects and more. Participants get to accompany seasoned rescuers on live snake rescue calls to witness how it is ethically and technically managed.
