Mysuru: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU), Mysuru, has organised a 3-day Professional Development Programme on ‘Scaling the Future: Trends and Challenges in Semiconductor Technology’ at the IS Seminar Hall, Golden Jubilee Bhavan, JSS Technical Institutions Campus, SJCE, from Feb. 13 to 15.
The programme provides professional insights into emerging semiconductor trends, including fabrication, characterisation, miniaturisation, design, manufacturing and packaging, while fostering collaboration, innovation and technical expertise. It aims to equip professionals with the latest industry advancements and challenges.
Dr. Navakanta Bhat, Dean, Interdisciplinary Science, Professor, Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), IISc, Bengaluru, will be the chief guest and inaugurate the programme at 10 am.
Dr. B. Suresh, Director, Technical Education Division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha; Dr. A.N. Santosh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JSS STU; Prof. Dr. S.A. Dhanaraj, Registrar; Dr. C. Nataraju, Principal & Dean (Engineering and Technology), JSS STU and Dr. U.B. Mahadevaswamy, Professor and Head, Department of ECE, will be present.
The event serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and skill enhancement in the rapidly evolving semiconductor industry.
