Yaduveer couple visit Mysore Road in London

Titular head of the Mysore Royal family, Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and his wife Trishika Kumari Singh Wadiyar, who were in London, visited the ‘Mysore Road’ on Saturday where they were welcomed by former Mayor of the London Borough of Lambeth Dr. Neeraj Patil. Members of British Indian community, Kannada community and the President of Basava Samiti of United Kingdom Abhijeet Salimath were present on the occasion.

Picture below shows Yaduveer garlanding the granite bust of 12th century social reformer Basaveshwara located on the banks of River Thames in London as Dr. Neeraj and Trishika hold the posters containing the famous saying of Basavanna ‘Kaayakave Kailaasa’ (Work is Worship).
