Yuva Dasara at Maharaja’s grounds from Sept. 22

Mysuru: Maharaja’s College grounds will once again reverberate to the beats of young and talented musicians across the country as the Yuva Dasara programmes unfold with well-known singer Palak Muchhal of Dil Se Dil Tak-fame setting the stage on fire on Sept.22. She and her younger brother Palash Muchhal have raised funds through her charity shows, which has helped to save lives of 1,333 children suffering from heart ailments. Muchhal has made her entry in both Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book for great achievements in social work.

The eight-day extragavaganza will end on Sept.29. On Sept. 23 Bollywood playback singer and Kannada talent Nakash Aziz will perform. The famous Coke Studio artistes will entertain the audience on Sept. 24 and on Sept. 25, Sandalwood’s own Arjun Janya will have the audience screaming with his live performance. Sept. 26 will see another Bollywood playback singer Neethi Mohan perform.

Red Bull Tour Bus

For the first time the world famous Red Bull Tour Bus is going to perform in Mysuru on Sept. 27 and it is going to be a mind-boggling experience. The group has covered over 60,000 kms in the bus so far.

The last two days are devoted to Sandalwood. On Sept. 28, a Sandalwood Nite has been organised and on the last day—Sept. 29, Gandhada Gudi Star Nite will see the curtains coming down on the eight-day Yuva Dasara in a blaze.

Hat-trick hero Shivaraj Kumar and actress Mayuri will participate among others, said Yuva Dasara Deputy Special Officer and Superintendent of Police Ravi D. Channannavar.
