Ours is a corruption-free and transparent Govt.: Minister Krishan Pal

Mysuru: The Central Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has completed three years in office, has been successful in providing a corrupt-free and transparent Government, said Union Minister for Social Justice Krishan Pal Gurjar, here yesterday.

Addressing press persons at a private hotel in city, the Union Minister said that the present Central Government was pro-poor and added efforts were being made to bring the poor into the Banking sector through Jan Dhan Yojana and also to provide home to the homeless through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Minister Gurjar was in Mysuru to take part in the two-day ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat: Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ programme organised to mark the three year completion of Narendra Modi-led Government.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Pratap Simha said that such programmes had been organised in more than 350 districts.

“BJP MPs across the country will take part in the programmes to highlight the achievement of Central Government in the past three years,” he said.

The BJP High Command deputed Union Ministers, including Piyush Goel, Harsh Vardhan, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and others, will visit Karnataka and take part in similar programmes to be organised across the State.

The party has organised around 33 conventions across 19 districts till June 19.

City BJP President Dr. B.H. Manjunath, former Minister  S.A. Ramdas, BJP District President M. Shivanna, former MUDA Chairman L. Nagendra, former MLC Thontadarya, Corporator Nandeesh Preetham, District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev and others were present.
