Laughter Theatre Festival in city from May 23 to 25

Kadamba Rangavedike, Mysuru, is hosting a Laughter Theatre Fest (Kadamba Nage Naatakothsava) from May 23 to 25 at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises in city. The Fest will be inaugurated by Jevargi Rajanna, Founder of Vishwajyothi Sri Panchakshara Natya Sanga, on May 23 at 6.30 pm.

Actor Mysore Anand will be the chief guest. Kannada and Culture Department Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy and Assistant Director Dr. M.D. Sudharshan will be present during the inauguration.Kadamba Rangavedike Founder-President Rajashekar Kadamba will deliver the introductory speech.  The following plays will be staged at 7 pm on the respective dates: May 23: Play ‘Nemmadi Apartment’ by Kadamba Rangavedike. The play is directed by Jeevan Kumar Heggodu; May 24: Play ‘EE Prema Lokada Geetheyu’ by Side Wing troupe, Bengaluru. The play is directed by Bharath S. Jagannath; May 25: ‘Anumanada Avaanthara’ by Antharanga Bahiranga team. The play is directed by S. Vikas.
