The 14th Graduation Day of National Institute of Engineering (NIE) was held at NIE Golden Jubilee Indoor Sports Complex on Manandavadi Road in city on July 12. A total of 717 Under-Graduates received the degree certificates, while  42 rank holders, 8 BE honours and 9 Ph.D awardees received Gold Medals on the occasion. Prof. T.G. Sitharam (seated 4th from left), Chairman, AICTE, New Delhi, who was the chief guest, presented the medals to the students. Dr. M.S. Ranganath, President, NIE-MC; Dr. Rohini Nagapadma, Principal; Dr. M.S. Ganesh Prasad, Vice-Principal; Dr. C. Vidya Raj, Dean; Dr. S. Kuzalvaimozhi, Controller of Examinations and others were present on the occasion.
