15 NCC cadets from Mysuru Group selected for R-Day Camp in Delhi

Mysuru:  Fifteen National Cadet Corps (NCC) members from NCC Group Headquarters, Mysuru, have been selected to participate in the prestigious Republic Day Parade-2025, scheduled to take place in New Delhi on Jan. 26.

These outstanding cadets, chosen through a rigorous selection process, represent exemplary leadership, dedication, and a strong sense of duty.

They hail from various units, including the 13 Kar Bn NCC, 3 Kar Naval Unit NCC, 14 Kar Bn NCC, 3 Kar Girls Bn NCC, 1 Kar Arty  Bty NCC and 4 Kar Air Sqn. NCC.

Most of the selected cadets belong to the Army Wing: Junior Under Officer R. Yogeshwar, Company Quartermaster Sergeant L.C. Keerthi, Junior Under Officer M.D. Manisha Raj, Cadet Sanch C. Mandanna, Junior Under Officer K.S. Kaveramma, Cadet Kannika, Senior Under Officer H.M. Shashanth, Sergeant Sahil Yadav, Cadet E. Chandan, Sergeant R. Diganth, and Sergeant P.K. Prathiksha. 

From the Navy Wing, Cadet M. Mahendra and Cadet Captain G.P. Sonal have been chosen, while Cadet Suhas Nair and Cadet Warrant Officer K. Anusha represent the Air Wing.

Senior Under Officer, Army Wing, M.R. Hemanth from 19 Kar Bn NCC (Group Headquarters Mangaluru) and a student of Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa College, Madikeri, Kodagu District has also been selected for the R-Day camp.   

These students will be participating in various events like the Guard of Honour, Kartavya Path March, Prime Minister’s Rally and cultural events. 

The NCC Republic Day Camp, a week-long event in New Delhi, encompasses intensive training, cultural programmes, social service initiatives and competitions such as Drill, Cultural Performances, Flag Area Display and Best Cadet contests. This prestigious camp aims to foster patriotism, discipline and leadership qualities in the cadets, preparing them for future challenges.
