159th Jayantotsava of D. Banumaiah tomorrow

Free medical camp and eye screening has been organised by Kunchitigara Sangha, Mysuru, in association with Lions Club International Association District 317A on Friday (July 5) at D. Banumaiah Educational Institution premises to celebrate 159th Jayantotsava of Raobahadur Dharmaprakash D. Banumaiah. Earlier in the day, at 10.30 am, D. Banumaiah’s bust will be garlanded. Sweets will be distributed to students and fruits to inpatients of Ayurveda and Unani Hospital. Association President M.P. Nagaraj, President of D. Banumaiah Educational Institution Dr. V.B. Jayadev, KR Constituency MLA S.A. Ramdas, Chamaraja Constituency MLA L. Nagendra, ex-MLA of KR Constituency M.K. Somashekar, ex-Mayor H.N. Srikantaiah, Corporators B.V. Manjunath and Pramila Bharat, President of Lions Club K.S. Virupaksha and Ln. T.S. Shashikumar will be present, according to a press release.
