2-day Handwoven Saree Expo opens at JCAC

Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Threads of Tradition,’ a two-day exhibition and sale of curated exotic Indian Handwoven Sarees from Diva Collections, Bengaluru, curated by S. Sumana, was inaugurated at Jagannatha Centre for Art and Culture (JCAC) in Vijayanagar 1st Stage this morning.

The expo, offering a range of Maheshwari, Chanderi and Banarasi sarees, was inaugurated in the presence of Akshaya Shenoy, Managing Director of Silent Shores Resort and Convention Centre, Amritha Shenoy and Sumana. Ahead of Women’s Day, the expo-cum-sale will be open  from 11 am to 8 pm today and tomorrow.
