Chinnamani (70), wife of Puttarajappa, a retired PWD Engineer, passed away yesterday at a private hospital in Mysuru following brief illness. She leaves behind her husband, a son, a daughter, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the family’s farm in Hunsur  this afternoon.

Shashikala Mallesh (58), wife of Mallesh and a resident of Medar Street, passed away yesterday morning following heart attack. She leaves behind her husband, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the Hindu Burial Grounds here this afternoon.

Ramachandra Naidu (82), a resident of Store Street and an expert in making bullock cart wheels, passed away on Saturday following brief illness. He leaves behind two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed yesterday at the Hindu Burial Grounds near the bridge.

Allen Standen (63), a resident of Kesare, passed away last night at his residence following cardiac arrest. A musician, he leaves behind his wife, a son, sisters and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral was held at Benson Cemetery on Ooty Road here this afternoon.
