Shettahalli Guruswamy (40), Nanjangud taluk Hullahalli Block Congress President and Akila Bharata Mahasabha, Taluk Unit Director passed away at a private hospital in Mysuru yesterday following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, one son and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at his farm in Shettahalli, in the taluk today.

Shyla (62), retired Women and Child Welfare Department Officer and a resident of Kugekodi village in the taluk passed away yesterday. She leaves behind one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at her native place yesterday evening.

Chandrashekar Aradhya (81), retired Assistant Director of the Agriculture Department and a resident of Brindavan Extension, passed away this morning following brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, one daughter, one son and a host of relatives and friends. His body was donated to JSS Hospital, as per her wish.

C. Balakondaiah (62), a Contractor and a resident of Manjunathapura, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife Venkatalakshmamma, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds at Bannimantap this afternoon, according to family sources.
