Javarashetty (73), a resident of Bhootanahalli in Periyapatna, passed away yesterday. He leaves behind two wives, six children, four daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Mutturu in Periyapatna this noon, according to family sources.

Ramaiah (70), a retd. Superintendent of KSOU and a resident of Hinkal (Odappa Gowda Road), passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife Kamalamma, three sons including newspaper distributor Siddarama and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage here yesterday.
