Tholasamma (70), wife of late Yajaman Kalaiah and a resident of Kailaspuram, passed away on Monday at a private hospital in city. She leaves behind one son, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Jodi Tenginamara Burial Grounds in Bannimantap yesterday afternoon, according to family sources.

B.S. Shylaja, Assistant Professor, Department of History at Maharani’s First Grade College, passed away at a private hospital in city on Monday. She leaves behind her husband Dr. H.L. Chandrashekar, a retired Professor of Philosophy, daughter Bharathi and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill.
