K. Kenchegowda (78), retired Professor at PES College, Mandya, passed away yesterday. He leaves behind his wife N.G. Suvarna, son Dr. Sharath Babu, daughter-in-law Dr. Tejaswini, brother K. Basavarajegowda (retired Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Executive Engineer) and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at his native place this morning.
Girija Sundaresh (75), a resident of the temple town, passed away following a heart attack here yesterday. She leaves behind her husband Dr. Sundaresh, son Dr. Srikanth, daughter Dr. Deepa, daughter-in-law Dr. Divya and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held near Hadinaaru Kaalu Mantapa on the banks of Kapila River today.
