Mysuru: Sabarimala Sree Ayyappa Pooja Samithi has organised 65th Annual Puja Celebrations at Sree Ayyappa Swamy and Sree Guruvayurappan Temple, foot of Chamundi Hill, Mysuru, in December as follows:

Dec. 20 – 5 am to 10 am: Maha Ganapathi Homa, Ghee Abhishekam, Alankara Puja to Sri Ayyappa Swamy with Vadyam, Astapathi Ganam with Edakka by Vadyakalarathna Sri Payyavoor Gopalan Kutty Marar and Party, Procession of Deity at Temple premises with Pandimelam, Ayyappan Kudiyiruthal.

3.30 pm to 7 pm: Palakkombu procession from Sri Ramalingeshwara Temple, Vidyaranyapuram and ends at temple followed by deity.

7 pm to 12 am: Ayyappan Vilakku, Palakkombu Nruthyam, Thirivuzhichil, Ayyappan Pattu & Prasada Viniyoga, Vettum Thadavum, Palkindi Procession, Konda, Mangalam.

26th Year Dhwajarohana Mahothsava

Dec. 21 – 6 pm to 9 pm: Dwajarohana.

Dec. 22 – 5.30 am to 12 noon: Maha Ganapathi Homa, Usha Puja, Chathushuddhi, Dara, Panchagavyam, Panchakam, Kalasa Puja, Seeveli, Procession with Vadyam, Kalasabhishekam, Ucha Puja.

5.30 pm to 9 pm: Deeparadhana, Attazha Pooja, Sree Bhootha Bali, Velakku, Prasada Viniyoga.

6.30 pm to 8.30 pm: Special Thayambaka by Vadyakalarathna Sri Payyavoor Gopalan Kutty Marar & Party.

Dec. 23 – 5.30 am to 12 noon: Maha Ganapathi Homa, Usha Puja, Seeveli Uthsava with Vadyam, Kalasabhishekam, Kalabhabhishekam (Gandhada Abhishekam), Abhisheka to God Ganapathi, Ucha Puja.

5.30 pm to 9 pm: Deeparadhana, Attazha Puja, Sree Bhootha Bali, Velakku, Prasada Viniyoga.

Dec. 24 – 5.30 am to 12 noon: Maha Ganapathi Homa, Usha Puja, Seeveli, Navagam Panchagavyam Abhisheka to Lord Ayyappa, Ucha Puja.

4 pm to 9 pm: Deeparadhana, Yatre Bali, Yatre Homa, Deeparadhana & Arattu Procession, Arattu Pooja, Kodierakkal (Folding of Flag), Burning of Crackers, Attazha Pooja, Kalasabhishekam, Seeveli, Prasada Viniyoga.

During the period from Nov. 17, 2025 to Jan. 19, 2026, arrangements have been made for Maaladharane, Irumudi, bathing and accommodation at Sree Ayyappa Swamy Temple for the convenience of devotees undertaking the Vratha to Sabarimala.

Steps have also been taken to make Maale & Irumudi items available to devotees within the temple premises.

Daily Annadanam will be organised from Nov. 17, 2025 to Jan. 19, 2026, every day between 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm.

Maha Annadanam has been organised on all five days, from Dec. 20 to 24, between 12.30 pm and 3 pm.

On Jan. 14, 2026, Laksha Deepothsava has been arranged.
