A good democracy results only from strong opposition parties . For 6 decades our nation suffered because the puny opposition parties were weak and as a result scams and corruption of astronomical proportions happened! Just between 2004 and 2014 there were 109 scams , many of the size of 2g, coal etc fact were hundreds of thousand crores. Plainly because opposition did not stop the ruling parties from stealing the public money, did not get any support from public, media and government was solely used for corruption!
From 2014 till today, we have not heard of any corruption! Even one or two accusations are made that Modi is a CHOR is made with the intentions of stopping the corruption before it stops so, the credit of BJP being non corrupt actually goes to Rahul, Kejri, mania and the gang ! They have a very healthy attitude that they even question surgical strikes, even supreme court decisions, EvMs you name it ! So, Congress has held democracy vibrant,
So, India has found a great opposition leader! Rahul Gandhi I think he needs to be the opposition leader for the next 25 years!
Also Modi made so many promises! Like 15 lakh to each person if he is thrown out from PM position, he may say, I am not in power to implement it! So, we have to keep him as a PM until each and every person gets his 15 lakhs !
We can’t let him go we have full safety tgat he any do anything wrong as ,not as Rahul is in the opposition
The genesis of woes of Indian Democracy started with Nehru. He was so popular, no other opposition leader/parties had a chance to grow, except JP who was more a social activist. The popularity of Nehru and INC was so overwhelming it stifiled opposition and became a defacto one party state.
