Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who inaugurated the KSS Sanskrit Patashala (Kyathanahalli Sahukar Sidddalingaiah Sanskrit Patashala) and new Student Hostel building at a programme organised by JSS Mahavidyapeetha at Suttur Mutt in city yesterday, was felicitated by Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji with a Rudrakshi Mala and shawl. Also, the PM was presented with a portrait of Saint Basavanna and another one of Modi with his mother Heeraba, who turned 100 on June 18. Modi was overwhelmed on seeing the portraits and paid obeisance to them.
