Mysuru:  An elderly man, who had suffered serious injuries when a mini van rammed into him while he was crossing the road on Oct.3 near Jaganmohan Palace and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital, passed away on Dec.1.

The deceased is Murugan (72), a resident of Nachanahalli Palya in the taluk.

After Murugan suffered serious injuries in the mishap, he was admitted to a private hospital where he underwent treatment for 15 days and was later shifted to NIMHANS in Bengaluru. But on Saturday, Murugan suffered from low blood pressure and despite efforts by the doctors, it could not be controlled. The doctors then told the family members to shift Murugan to Mysuru.
