Activist files one more complaint against CM

August 13, 2024

Bengaluru: In a fresh challenge for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, social activist T.J. Abraham has filed another private complaint against him at the Special Court for People’s Representatives concerning the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) alternative sites allotment scam.

Previously, on July 26, Abraham’s complaint seeking prosecution of CM Siddaramaiah,  led Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot to issue a show cause notice to the Chief Minister. In response, the State Cabinet passed a unanimous resolution urging the Governor to withdraw the notice, though a decision on prosecution is yet to be made.

Additionally, another private complaint by activist Snehamayi Krishna from Mysuru is set for hearing today (Aug. 13) at Bengaluru’s Special Court for People’s Representatives. The Court will determine whether to accept or reject this complaint.
