Mysore/Mysuru: With COVID fatalities among Policemen on the rise, ADGP (Administration) Dr. M.A. Saleem has instructed Department officials to send applications seeking jobs on compassionate grounds, in accordance with  35-point check list laid out by the Department.

In a circular issued recently, the ADGP said that many applications seeking jobs on compassionate grounds upon death of serving cop are found to be either incomplete or inaccurate. This has resulted in unnecessary delay of scrutiny of applications. As such, the authorities should thoroughly  scrutinise the documents in accordance with the issued guidelines and check list before forwarding them to Central Office, the circular said.
