The Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of State Government Retired Employees Association has been organised on Aug.23 at 10 am at Chikkamma Niketana Kalyana Mantap, Kuvempunagar in the city, said  Association President B.R. Umakanth while speaking at a press conference at Pathrakartara Bhavan in the city on Tuesday.

He said that former MLA M.K.Somashekar will preside over the programme.  President of the District State Government Employees Association will participate as special guest.

B.R. Umanath appealed the general public and students to give up their seats while travelling in city and other buses to senior citizens. The Government also must do something in this regard, he added. Office bearers K.M. Puttu, Mariadas, C. Chikkalingaswamy, K.R. Krishnashetty were present at the press meet.
