AIDYO demands lecturers for Degree Colleges

Mysuru: Over 100 members of All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO) staged a protest in front of Crawford Hall here this morning alleging that lecturers had not been appointed though degree colleges had reopened  a month ago.

They also alleged that the hostels and mess had not been reopened which had inconvenienced students. They also sought better infrastructure at Maharaja and Yuvaraja colleges.

BSP opposes abolition of subsidy on LPG: Over 100 members of Bahujana Samaja Party (BSP) staged a protest in front of the DC’s office this morning condemning the move of the Union Govt. to abolish subsidy on domestic LPG cylinders.

Visually-impaired students seek reopening of  Braille Press: About 50 visually-impaired students staged a protest in front of the DC’s office here this morning seeking re-opening of Braille Press in Tilaknagar.
