The Annual Day of NIE First Grade College was held at NIE Diamond Jubilee Sports Complex in city recently.

H.Janardhan, former Director of Rangayana, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the programme.  Principal B.A. Suma presented the annual report and highlighted the activities of the college during the academic year 2016-17.

Speaking on the occasion, Janardhan extolled the work of the teachers and said that a teacher’s job was to mould the students and it was up to the society to accept the students. He likened this thoughts to the relation between a sculptor and his work.

Endowment awards, distinction awards, awards for college toppers and subject toppers and trophies for sports activities were distributed on the occasion.
